Refund Policy

Ledger Pro Inc. strives to provide professional accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, QuickBooks consulting, and advisory services. Because our services involve professional time, expertise, and customized work, refunds are subject to the terms outlined below.

1. Service-Based Nature of Our Work

Ledger Pro's services are professional services rather than physical products. Fees are generally charged for time, expertise, analysis, preparation, consultation, filing, reporting, and advisory services.

Once work has commenced, a portion or all of the service fee may become non-refundable.

2. Consultation Fees

Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.

If Ledger Pro cancels a scheduled consultation and is unable to reschedule within a reasonable period, a refund may be issued at our discretion.

3. Tax Preparation Services

Fees paid for tax preparation services are generally non-refundable once substantial work has begun, including:

  • Reviewing client documents
  • Researching tax matters
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Performing calculations or reconciliations
  • Communicating with the client regarding tax matters

If a client chooses not to file a completed return, preparation fees already earned remain payable.

4. Bookkeeping and Accounting Services

Monthly bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and advisory fees are non-refundable for services already performed.

Clients may terminate ongoing services in accordance with the applicable engagement agreement, but no refund will be provided for completed work.

5. Software and Third-Party Fees

Ledger Pro may incur costs through third-party providers including:

  • QuickBooks Online
  • Intuit products and services
  • Tax software providers
  • E-signature platforms
  • Secure document portals
  • Payment processors

Any third-party fees already incurred on behalf of a client are generally non-refundable.

6. Duplicate Payments and Billing Errors

If a client is charged incorrectly due to a billing error, duplicate transaction, or processing mistake, Ledger Pro will promptly investigate the matter and issue an appropriate refund when warranted.

7. Dissatisfaction with Services

If a client is dissatisfied with a service provided, we encourage them to contact Ledger Pro immediately so we can review the concern and attempt to resolve the issue.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

8. Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact Ledger Pro before initiating a credit card chargeback or payment dispute.

Filing a chargeback for services already rendered may result in suspension of services, collection activity, or legal remedies where appropriate.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution, or credit card company involved.
